Job summary

Bodycote, based in Fountain Inn, SC, seeks a Machine Operator to run and monitor thermal processing equipment in the Control Room. You will start and control cycles, sample gases, and document delivery to customers, while ensuring safety and compliance.

Eligible for a $1,500 sign-on retention bonus. The role requires full-time weekends and night shifts; overtime may be needed. Bodycote values safety and precision in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with heat treatment operation.
• May be required to work overtime or any shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in the Control Room to run cycles.
• Load and unload customer parts into/out of units and containers.
• Monitor gas sampling and ensure proper gas handling.
• Create/update Load Diagrams and KPI data.
• Follow procedures, PPE requirements, and safety rules.
