Job summary

University Health KC's Lakewood Long Term Care unit in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the LTC team. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Current Missouri LPN license.
• BCLS certification.
• Experience in a Long Term Care setting or similar clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care and monitor residents’ conditions.
• Supervise and mentor direct care and ancillary staff.
• Communicate with medical staff and advocate for resident needs.
• Assist with assessments, admissions, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with current nursing standards and maintain professional credentials.
• Foster a safe, culturally sensitive, and resident-centered environment.
