Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of acute care and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice with good standing.
• Successful completion of BLS/BCLS within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS and PALS certifications as required by scope of care.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status per facility policies and procedures across multiple body systems.
• Interpret information from noninvasive and invasive monitors.
• Describe pathophysiology of common diseases and anesthesia-related processes.
• Develop an individualized plan of care and communicate it across the care team.
• Provide monitoring and education, administer medications safely, and maintain infection control.
