Whole Foods Market is hiring for an In-Store Shopper in Washington, DC. You will prepare and shop customer orders for delivery or pickup across diverse product categories, including produce, meat, dairy, and prepared foods.

The role requires a flexible schedule, including Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and peak seasons. You will support the Customer Service & E-Commerce teams and work with handheld technology to fulfill orders.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Sufficient English language proficiency to prepare and shop customer orders.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills online orders efficiently and accurately.
• Verify product and order accuracy through quality control.
• Learn and apply product knowledge and customer service standards.
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter.
• Handle in-store and online order returns and pickups.
• Comply with age verification requirements for restricted items.
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide store information.
• Maintain knowledge of product and promotional events.
• Maintain a positive work environment.
• Communicate clearly, collaboratively and courteously.
• Attend all leadership meetings and daily huddles.
• Support store programs, varied checkout options, and product assortment.
