Job summary

Baptist Health, a major healthcare system in central Alabama, seeks a Weekend Plan RN for Prattville Baptist Hospital Emergency Department. This full-time position offers night shifts with weekend premiums and opportunities to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced ED.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff on weekends/holidays, collaborating with physicians, and using the nursing process for assessments and care. Active RN licensure and BSN preferred are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift.
• Ensure quality and continuity of patient care on weekends/holidays.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinicians in planning and implementing care.
• Utilize the nursing process for assessments, planning and interventions.
