Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking experienced Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for a weekend night shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:55 PM–5:55 AM) at our 103 Kindig Lane facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated conveyor systems and high-speed packaging equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical).
• Experience with automated conveyor systems or warehouse distribution technology is preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working at heights up to 30 feet.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing advanced conveyor belt systems and automated material handling equipment.
• Working with PLC systems, motor controls, DC/AC drives, and sensor-based automation.
• Installing, wiring, and maintaining electrical components like relays, motors, and panels.
• Performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep things running smoothly.
