Job summary

Talent Staffing and Recruiting is seeking a CT Technologist for a full-time Weekend Nights position in Aurora, CO. The role is onsite with Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (0.9 FTE) and a pay range of $37.35–$52.29 per hour, dependent on experience.

Preference is for an accredited Radiologic Technologist program graduate, ARRT-registered CT technologist or registry-eligible within 12 months, and BLS certification valid through 60 days after hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT, and either registered in computed tomography (CT) by ARRT or registry-eligible with completion of the CT registry within 12 months.
• BLS through the American Heart Association, or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in hand before start date and valid through 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures; review patient history and physician orders; educate patients on procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice; monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Select exposure factors and imaging parameters; perform quality control on equipment; troubleshoot and report malfunctions.
• Evaluate image quality and take corrective action; enter, transmit and report scan results; may perform 3-D post processing.
