Job summary
Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Indiana is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Med/Surg and TCU Department. This is a full-time position with weekend nights on 12-hour shifts (Friday and Saturday) plus one weekday shift, totaling 36 hours per week.
Under the Nursing Department supervision, you will perform receptionist and secretarial duties on the patient care unit, serve as the focal point of communication in the nursing station, and assist staff nurses with patient care in
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Indiana CNA license is required.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Experience with EMR systems (Cerner) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform receptionist and secretarial duties on the patient care unit.
- Serve as the focal communication source in the nursing station.
- Assist staff nurses with patient care according to hospital policies.
- Demonstrate growth and development knowledge appropriate to patient age.
