Job summary

Main Line Health's Lankenau Medical Center is seeking a Weekend Program MRI Technologist to join our radiology team. You will operate MRI scanners, verify patient histories, prepare and position patients, and help reduce anxiety during procedures.

The role is 4/4 weekends, day shift (Fri/Sat/Sun 6am-6:30pm) on a per-diem schedule. Requires ARRT MRI certification or MRI training, BLS, and graduate from JRCERT-approved program; 1 year MRI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent MRI experience preferred.
• Graduate of JRCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology or MRI approved program.
• ARRT Certification and/or MRI Certification is desirable; Advanced ARRT MRI preferred.
• IV Certification preferred or must be achieved by end of training/onboarding.
• Provider BLS (AHA/Red Cross) required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and acquire diagnostic images.
• Verify clinical history, prepare and position patients for procedures.
• Explain procedures and minimize patient anxiety during MRI exams.

Education

Graduate of JRCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology or MRI approved program
