Job summary

A healthcare organization in Pennsylvania is seeking a Per Diem MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and assist patients throughout their procedures. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent MRI experience preferred.
• Graduate of JRCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology or MRI approved program.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT® and/or MRI Certification preferred.
• IV Certification preferred or must be achieved by end of training/onboarding process.
• Provider BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Run Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners and work directly with patients.
• Verify patient clinical history, prepare, instruct, and position them for procedures.
• Minimize patient anxiety during procedures.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of recent MRI experience preferred.

Education

Graduate of JRCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology or MRI approved program.

Licensures/Certifications

1. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT® and/or MRI Certification. Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT® (MRI) preferred.

2. IV Certification preferred or must be achieved by end of training/onboarding process.

3. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
