Job summary

Banner Health's MRI team in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a flexible MRI technologist to cover afternoon/evening shifts, Monday–Friday, across Banner Baywood Medical Center and Banner Heart Hospital. You will operate 3T and 1.5T Siemens scanners, assuring high-quality imaging and patient care in a collaborative environment.

The role requires ARRT MRI certification (or equivalent NMTCB/ARDMS/ARMRIT), state licensure as applicable, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT certification and/or NMTCB/ARDMS/ARMRIT MRI modality credentials; state licensure as applicable; advance MRI certification within 18 months of hire; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed MRI procedures by following orders; uses professional conduct and collaborates with team.
• Educates patients and families about procedures; ensures timely, accurate communication and care.
• Produces high-quality images and documents results for interpretation; maintains accurate records.
• Demonstrates competency in invasive/interventional MRI procedures where applicable; adheres to policies.
• Performs quality control on equipment and maintains a safe environment for patients and staff.
