Job summary

University Health in Kansas City is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a weekend alternative role. This position offers the opportunity to provide MRI services for both inpatient and outpatient care, collaborating closely with Radiologists to deliver accurate imaging. Ideal candidates have graduated from an accredited Radiology program, hold ARRT registration, and are willing to work occasional weekends. Join our dedicated Radiology team and contribute to impactful patient care using state-of-the-art imaging technology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
• Registered in good standing with the ARRT.
• MR certification required upon hire or within 12 months.
• BCLS certification must be maintained.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient positioning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to take occasional weekend call.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with Radiologists to ensure accurate imaging.
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
• Serve as a subject matter resource for MRI technology.
