Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City seeks an MRI Technologist for the Bell Hospital campus to join weekend days schedule. The role involves operating MR equipment, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, image evaluation, and adherence to MR safety protocols while supporting the radiology department’s goals and ongoing staff education. SHift: Sat–Mon, 6:30am–7:00pm, Full Time.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Radiologic Technology or MR Imaging program.
• ARRT MR Certification or eligibility required.
• BLS certification preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality MR images with patient safety in mind.
• Position patients and prepare for procedures; monitor during exams.
• Perform venipuncture and manage IV access as prescribed.
• Adhere to MR safety guidelines and educate staff and students.
