Job summary

FIS in Wisconsin is seeking a reliable Mail Processing Associate to support our remittance operations. You will sort mail, operate sorting and opening equipment, and prepare to be on your feet for most of the shift.

This on-site weekend role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, data entry skills, and solid knowledge of remittance processing. You will balance inventories and assist with notices and other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sort incoming mail according to customer and deadlines.
• Operate large mail sorting and opening equipment.
• Maintain stance on feet 80% of the workday.
• Set up and maintain the remittance processor and related equipment.
• Perform research and adjustment activities.
• Process exception items.
• Maintain inventory of remittance processing supplies.
• Prepare outgoing collection notices for negotiable instruments.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
