Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors providing medical services to military service members, primarily on weekends with occasional weekdays under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) in South Carolina.

You will conduct health assessments, review histories, interview service members, and document findings in our systems. SC NP license, CPR/BLS, and travel flexibility are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in South Carolina.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or occupational health.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, incl. Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
