Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors providing health readiness services to U.S. military members, with emphasis on weekend coverage and occasional weekdays.

You will assess health readiness, review records, interview service members, and document results in our system; travel to remote installations may be required.

A state PA license, CPR/BLS, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments are essential.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in the relevant state.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or occupational health.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify concerns needing immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.
