Job summary

Kidsave is seeking an energetic intern to support the Weekend Miracles Houston Program in a hybrid role based in Houston, TX. The internship offers a monthly stipend and involves tasks across program operations, outreach, and advocacy.

Interns gain experience assisting with events, materials, and family-host processes, under supervision, in a learning-focused environment that supports staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a college program or have at least 2 years of related college coursework completed.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Knowledge of Canva, ClickUp, and Salesforce is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Attend advocacy events and assist with coordination and materials.
• Assist with program materials, flyers, spreadsheets, and website postings.
• Support hosting inquiries and follow-ups with prospective host families.
• Assist families through applications and training processes.
• Observe and assist with reports and staff guidance for families.
