Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors to support military service members through our Reserve Health Readiness Program. The role is primarily weekend work with occasional weekday coverage, across multiple sites including Florida, with background checks and E-Verify in the hiring process.

You will review health histories, interview personnel, assess readiness, and document results in a proprietary medical record system.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in the state
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health - preferred
• Not required: diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.
