Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors to support military readiness services in Georgia. Weekend shifts with occasional weekdays are expected for U.S. Army Reserve, ANG, USNR, and other branches.

Active GA PA license and CPR/BLS are required, with experience in primary, urgent, or occupational health being preferred. Travel to remote military installations may be necessary, and flexibility for extended hours is important.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in Georgia is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health is preferred.
• Knowledge of military systems and terminology is preferred.
• Able to travel and work weekends; extended hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support health assessments for military personnel.
• Review health history and medical records relevant to readiness.
• Interview service members to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including behavioral health.
• Document interview results in the patient record using a proprietary system.
