Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors providing services to military service members. The role focuses on weekend work with occasional weekday shifts in Tennessee, supporting readiness assessments across multiple reserve components.

Requirements include an active PA license, CPR/BLS, and relevant experience in primary or occupational health. Travel to remote installations and extended hours support are expected where needed.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in the state is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services preferred.
• Knowledge of military systems, protocols and terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support physical health assessments for military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records and questionnaires.
• Interview personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including behavioral health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the medical record using a proprietary system.
