Job summary

Lightfully Behavioral Health in Southern California is hiring Client Care Technicians to provide aid, supervision, and protective oversight of clients during assigned shifts, including overseeing self-administration of medication.

The position emphasizes compassionate care, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the clinical team. Weekend shift schedule and on-site work support a stable, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• For residential positions: ability to walk up and down stairs frequently without assistance.
• 0-4 years experience working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities.
• Must be at least 21 years of age; First Aid Training and health screening requirements (TB clearance, Criminal Record Clearance).

Responsibilities

• Supports clients' physical and psychological safety.
• Monitors and oversees clients' self-administration of medication.
• Documents observations accurately and timely; notify clinical staff of noteworthy changes.
• Transports clients to outings, appointments, etc.
• Provides one-on-one assistance to clients in crisis as directed by clinical team.
• Assists clients with meals and dietary needs as indicated.
• Assists with admission and discharge processes, including orientation and tours.
• Leads/co-leads and facilitates groups (as licensure allows).
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor, including light housekeeping and inventory prep.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
