Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator for Memory Care, weekends 9AM–3PM, to plan and lead engaging resident activities. You will help build a balanced calendar with cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational options.

Responsibilities include coordinating performers, guiding residents to participate, and assisting with transportation and outings under community guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience as Programming Coordinator (Activities) preferred, but not required.
• Proficient with Internet resources and current technology.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• At least 21 years old with 3 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement activities and events for residents.
• Develop the monthly program calendar balancing cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational activities.
• Assist in procuring groups, organizations, and individuals to perform for or instruct residents.
• Encourage resident participation through positive relationships and personalized interactions.
• Assist the Director, Entertainment & Programming with medical transportation and outings within guidelines.
• Assist residents in entering and exiting community vehicles.
