Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Ohio seeks a Part Time Program Coordinator, Memory Care, to create and lead engaging activities that enhance residents' quality of life. The role focuses on planning, coordination, and delivering purposeful programs on weekends.

You will support monthly calendars, recruit performers, encourage resident participation, and assist with transportation and special outings while maintaining safety and personalized engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience as Programming Coordinator (Activities) preferred but not required.
• Proficient with Internet resources and current technology.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• At least 21 years old with 3 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly program calendar balancing cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational opportunities.
• Procure groups, organizations, and individuals to perform for or instruct residents.

• Assist residents in entering and exiting community vehicles.

Schedule: Part Time- Weekends

The Program Coordinator, Memory Care position helps to create and lead an exciting program that maximizes resident engagement and enhances the quality of life of our residents.

The responsibilities for this role include:

• Providing overall support to the department in planning, coordinating, and implementing adult-centric, relevant, elevated, and purposeful activities and events.
• Assist in the development of the monthly program calendar to ensure it is equally balanced with cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational opportunities.
• Assisting in procuring groups, organizations, and individuals to perform for or instruct the residents.
• Actively influence and encourage residents to participate in activities using positive relationships and personalized interactions.
• Programing Coordinators assist the Director, Entertainment & Programming in providing medical transportation to residents within the community guidelines as well as innovative and interesting outings and excursions.
• Assist residents in entering and exiting community vehicle.
