Versailles Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Versailles, Ohio is seeking a Memory Care Activity Assistant to join our Memory Care team. You will create engaging activities that promote socialization, movement, creativity, and connection for residents with dementia.

Responsibilities include planning, leading, and adapting activities, providing one-on-one companionship, and working closely with nursing staff to support residents’ well-being.

Qualifications

• As a Memory Care Activity Assistant, plan and lead dementia-friendly activities and monitor resident engagement.
• Provide compassionate, patient interaction and adapt activities to individual abilities.
• Collaborate with nursing and care staff to support residents’ quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading daily activities for Memory Care residents
• Encourage participation and adapt activities to abilities and interests
• Lead games, crafts, music, exercise, social events, and other programs
• Provide one-on-one companionship and meaningful interactions
• Help decorate for holidays and special events
• Support a welcoming Memory Care environment and collaborate with the team
• Assist with documentation and activity-related tasks as needed
