Ivy Living is seeking a Medication Technician to support residents in our Colorado community. The role involves preparing and distributing medications, coordinating with pharmacies and physicians, and maintaining accurate care records.

A focus on safety and teamwork across staff and departments is essential. Candidates should have at least 1 year of medication assistance experience in a residential care setting, be 18+, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience assisting with medication in RCFE or similar setting.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong desire to care for the elderly and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physicians.
• Order and track all changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
