MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver for weekends in Silver Spring. The role involves driving a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays and hospital supplies across the DMV area.

The position is part-time with a fixed weekend schedule and requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving history, and the ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Must be able to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination depending on location and local mandates.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport hospital materials and specimens in a company vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transport cycle.
• Follow company policies, procedures and schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items with equipment.
• Demonstrate safe driving and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Complete pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Work across routes as assigned and support team goals.
