Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembler I for a 3/12 Weekend Shift (Fridays to Sundays, 12-hour shifts) in Irvine, CA. You will perform electro-mechanical and clean room device assembly, with emphasis on hand-assembly, accuracy, and adherence to SOPs.

The role requires attention to detail, initiative, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include GMP/FDA compliance, SOP adherence, and qualification in reading engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Assembly and production skills in cleanroom settings.
• Experience with medical device assembly.
• Proficiency in using hand tools like micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to operate electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Support company goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA regulations.
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), departmental policies and procedures (DOPs), and safety and environmental standards.
• Establish and maintain professional working relationships with staff, clients, and suppliers.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Pay meticulous attention to detail and meet deadlines.
• Learn new equipment and processes quickly and demonstrate proficiency in their operation.
• Read and interpret manufacturing procedures, engineering drawings, and inspection procedures written in English.
• Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in work and monitor work quality.
• Practice and advocate good safety skills at all times.
