Job summary

IVI RMA North America is seeking a Weekend Clinical Assistant for our Basking Ridge, NJ location. The role is part-time, working Saturdays and Sundays from 5:30am to 11:30am with rotating holidays. You will support the clinical team with patient care, assist physicians, and help ensure a high quality patient experience.

Qualifications include a Certified Medical Assistant (preferred) and 6+ months in a physician practice. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems is expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice.
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements and provider comments
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory
• Specimen collection and processing for labs
• Manage external lab orders and reports
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance before, during and after procedures
