Job summary

Klute Inc is seeking a Weekend Material Handler / Stager to support our steel fabrication shop. You will stage parts for welders, move and organize materials, and help maintain smooth production flow on weekends.

This hands-on role requires safety focus, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You’ll operate forklifts and overhead cranes, work near moving equipment, and collaborate with welders, machine operators, and production leadership.

Qualifications

• Safety-focused, reliable, and detail-oriented team member.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment.
• Comfortable operating forklifts and shop equipment (or willing to learn).
• Ability to work efficiently around moving equipment and pedestrians.

Responsibilities

• Stage steel parts for welders using project blueprints
• Move, sort, and organize materials throughout the shop
• Stack and store steel plate safely and efficiently
• Chamfer, countersink, and clean holes using a drill press and hand tools
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move material
• Communicate with welders, machine operators, and production leadership
• Support inventory organization and material priorities
