Job summary

Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing Inc. in Creedmoor, NC, seeks a Temporary Material Handler for an on-site weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM) to support inventory accuracy in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

You'll perform ABC cycle counts, research discrepancies, and maintain ERP records under supervision. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2 years in stockroom work, knowledge of ERP systems and Excel, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years stockroom/inventory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong inventory management knowledge and accuracy.
• Experience with ERP inventory management software and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform ABC cycle counts to verify inventory against ERP records.
• Research discrepancies and support reconciliation of records.
• Maintain product identification, lot traceability, quantities, and locations.
• Enter and update inventory data in the ERP system.
• Move materials within stockroom and plant; assist with loading/unloading.
• Assist with kitting and order filling; keep transaction records up to date.
