Aapstaff is seeking a Material Handler for our toiletry/personal care manufacturing operations in Illinois. You will receive, move, stage, and supply raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to support production and maintain accurate inventory.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, labeling verification, loading and unloading with forklifts or pallet jacks, and ensuring safe, clean warehouse conditions while adhering to GMP and company procedures.

• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming raw materials and packaging materials.
• Move materials between the warehouse, production areas, and designated storage locations.
• Stage materials for production according to daily schedules and work orders.
• Verify material labels, quantities, lot numbers, and other required information.
• Load and unload materials safely using appropriate equipment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, or other material-handling equipment as authorized.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and report shortages, damaged materials, or discrepancies.
• Deliver materials to production lines in a timely manner to prevent delays.
• Return unused materials to the appropriate storage locations following company procedures.
• Assist with receiving and shipping activities as needed.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory procedures when applicable.
• Complete required paperwork, inventory records, and material movement documentation.
• Follow all GMP, safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
• Properly handle and store materials according to labeling and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and production area.
• Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, spills, or material concerns to a supervisor.
• Work closely with Production, Quality Control, and Warehouse teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
