Job summary

VIM Recyclers in Illinois is seeking a material handler to move, store, and distribute materials safely within the warehouse, supporting efficiency and accurate inventory.

You will operate a sit-down propane forklift, assist with bale operations, and adhere to all safety, state, and federal regulations. This role requires reliability, overtime availability, and the ability to work in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Ability to work overtime with 50 Hour schedules, M-F.
• Forklift experience which includes, but is not limited to moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting materials.
• Perform equipment inspections and ensure all related reports follow state and federal regulations.
• Report all equipment deficiencies or malfunctions requiring maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist warehouse operations through safe material movement and organization.
• Safely operate a sit-down propane forklift to move, relocate, stack, and count materials.
• Support Baler Operations by moving material supply to and from the conveyor team.
• Various team project work as assigned by warehouse management.
• Adhere to company programs, policies, and procedures while completing work tasks in a safe manner.
• Comply with State and Federal regulations.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
