Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for the weekend shift (Friday to Sunday, 5am-5pm) at our Kansas distribution center.

This role supports fresh inventory flow and order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment. You will perform loading, unloading, warehousing, and staging of merchandise, ensure safety, and uphold production and quality standards while enjoying benefits such as competitive pay, shift premium, an AE/Aerie discount for associates and their families, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or some high school.
• Adaptable to change by working within different departments.
• Ability to maintain an excellent attendance and work record.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Ability to operate manual and automated pallet jack equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment by keeping safety a top priority.
• Sort, warehouse, stage, and load/unload cartons in an accurate, safe and efficient manner.
• Unload inbound freight/load outbound freight.
• Separate and load freight on unpacking lines.
• Stage outbound freight in shipping.
• Receive and warehouse incoming merchandise into module racks and floor locations.
• Pull merchandise from racks or move merchandise to open areas for pulling and distribution in the replenishment department.
• Replenish and condense merchandise into most effective locations for order pulling in the replenishment department.
• Operate manual and/or mechanical equipment in a safe and effective manner and maintain proper certifications.
• Ensure production and quality standards are met.
• Be open to performing other duties as assigned.
