Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Grand Island, Nebraska to perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment and support daily maintenance operations. The role includes responding to major issues, following safety procedures, and assisting various plant areas as required.

Must be willing to work in both hot and cold environments.
Must have some related maintenance experience.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100lbs on occasion.

Responsibilities

Performs preventative maintenance on equipment assigned by maintenance supervisors/lead hand.
Completes all assigned tasks scheduled and unscheduled as directed by supervisor.
Assist other areas of the plant when major problems occur.
Assist in day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring monitored areas meet safety and policy requirements.
