Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 2+ years related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math including decimals, percentages, areas, and volumes.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pipe fabrication shop equipment and tools to support operations.
• Service, operate, and maintain piping and cutting equipment.
• Service, operate, and maintain welding and fabrication equipment.
• Service, operate, and maintain blast and metal surface preparation equipment.
• Service, operate, and maintain overhead cranes and hoists.
• Service, operate, and maintain blast and paint operation equipment and related tools.
• Maintain small tools (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, gas-powered, hand tools).
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and discuss unsafe conditions with supervisor.
