Job summary

Saddle Creek Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician for weekend days in Lakeland, FL. The role focuses on electrical troubleshooting, PLC knowledge, and mechanical maintenance of packaging lines, conveyors and robotics.

The candidate will install, wire, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support boiler/steam tunnel operations. A strong electrical/mechanical background and lift operation experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5 years’ experience in packaging and equipment maintenance with emphasis on electrical installation, preventive maintenance, repair and troubleshooting (conveyors, robotics, wrappers, palletizers, etc.).
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated conveyor equipment preferred.
• Certifications in basic electrical, mechanical, motor control relay logic, and schematic reading preferred.
• Experience operating boom and scissor lifts required.

Responsibilities

• Install machines and perform control wiring installations; troubleshoot to component level.
• Understand PLC operations and perform troubleshooting (not programming).
• Anchor equipment, run conduit, pull wire, terminate conductors.
• Maintain and rebuild equipment, conveyors, robotics, and related systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and support boilers and steam tunnels.
