Job summary

Saddle Creek is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (12 p.m. – 8 p.m.) in Lakeland, FL. The role requires strong electrical troubleshooting, PLC knowledge, and extensive experience in packaging equipment maintenance.

You will work with conveyors, robotics, and other processing lines, performing preventive maintenance, installations, and routine diagnostics in a fast-paced packaging environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5 years’ experience in packaging and equipment maintenance with emphasis on electrical installation and preventive maintenance.
• Experience maintaining automated conveyor equipment preferred.
• Certifications in electrical, mechanical, motor control relay logic, and schematic reading preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install machines and control wiring; troubleshoot to component level.
• Understand PLCs (not programming) and assist in repairs.
• Anchor equipment, run conduit, pull wires and terminate conductors.
• Maintain and rebuild conveyors, robotics, and related systems.
• Operate and maintain boilers, steam tunnels, and related equipment.
