Job summary
Complete Building Services (CBS) is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Washington, DC area to perform HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance. Training toward licenses will be provided as part of the role.
Hours are weekends from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM; salary ranges from $22 to $26 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. The position requires on-call availability and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Weekend availability required.
- On-call 24/7 required.
- Basic coursework in electrical and HVAC systems.
- CFC/R-410A knowledge is preferred.
- Able to lift 60 pounds and ascend ladders up to 30 feet.
- Reliable transportation and background check required.
Responsibilities
- Daily, weekly and monthly inspections of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis.
- Maintain equipment to industry standards.
- Diagnose and repair simple HVAC, plumbing and electrical problems.
- Assist subcontractors for installation and/or repair as required.
- Interface with building manager and client representatives to ensure satisfaction.
- Complete status reports of systems as directed by supervisor.
- Purchase materials and maintain inventory for timely work completion.
