Job summary

McDonald’s Lincoln is seeking a Weekend Maintenance/Custodial professional to keep the restaurant clean, safe, and fully functional. You will tend the interior and exterior areas, perform routine cleaning, and monitor equipment conditions to prevent downtime.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, the ability to troubleshoot minor repairs, and the stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods in varying temperatures. Weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and maintenance skills are preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor repairs and complete routine preventive maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior of the restaurant, including dining room, restrooms, kitchen, storage areas, parking lot, sidewalks, and landscaping.
• Complete routine cleaning such as floors, walls, windows, light fixtures, and ceiling tiles.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment, including grills, fryers, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and beverage machines.
• Identify and report equipment issues promptly and coordinate repairs when necessary.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals, lockout procedures, ladder safety, and PPE.
• Maintain parking lot cleanliness, remove trash and debris, and manage snow or ice removal when required.
• Assist restaurant management with special projects, deliveries, and other operational needs.
