Job summary

AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is hiring a Machine Operator for our brand new manufacturing plant in De Pere, Wisconsin. Starting pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour depending on experience, with a $1,250 sign-on bonus paid in increments at 90 days, 190 days, and 1 year.

Overtime opportunities available with 12-hour shifts from 5 PM to 5 AM, Monday through Thursday. The role involves managing material conveyance, operating and setting up equipment, troubleshooting feeding systems, and

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing machinery.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (Mon-Thu 5PM–5AM).
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage material conveying process and offloading.
• Monitor and troubleshoot material feeding systems for continuous flow.
• Set up, start, operate, and shut down equipment for quality production.
• Adjust machine controls to maintain optimal performance.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and meet product specifications.

Will be paid out in increments (90 days, 190 days and 1 year)

Strating pay $25-35/ hour

Depending on experience and shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the material conveying process, including big bag or bulk offloading.
• Monitor and troubleshoot material feeding systems to maintain continuous and consistent material flow.
• Set up, start, operate, and shut down equipment, ensuring full project set-ups for quality production.
• Adjust machine controls throughout runtime to maintain optimal performance.
• Perform machine maintenance and adjustments to meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Respond to alarms and resolve issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency.
• Conduct thorough inspections throughout the production process to ensure finished products meet standards.
• Address and resolve processing issues to deliver customer requirements within business needs. Understand customer issues created by upstream processes from conveyance, forming, and cutting devices to ensure efficient and timely changeovers to minimize downtime.
• Ensure proper waste disposal procedures to prevent environmental pollution.

Shifts & Schedule:

12-hour shifts

• Monday – Thursday 5PM – 5AM
