Job summary

Evolve Adolescent Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time LVN/LPT to join our weekend nursing team. The role runs two weekends per month, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm, onsite at multiple San Diego area treatment centers including La Mesa, Mt. Helix, and Encinitas.

You will provide first aid, monitor safety, administer medications, record daily vitals, and work with a multidisciplinary team to support teens aged 12 to 17 facing mental health or substance use challenges.

Qualifications

• Valid LVN/LPT license.
• Proficient in PC, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate productively with other team members.
• Must be punctual and maintain professional demeanor.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Must clear a CA Live Scan background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of all clients in care.
• Ensure needs and services for each client are being implemented.
• Ensure all records are up to date.
• Complete and record daily vitals and weekly weight.

Evolve adolescent mental health treatment and teen rehab centers, accredited by CARF and The Joint Commission, offer the highest caliber of behavioral health care for adolescents 12 to 17 years old struggling with mental health issues or substance abuse.

We are looking for a part-time LVN/LPT to join our team as a weekend nurse to work 2 weekends a month Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm-8:30pm.

This is an opportunity to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team and gain experience working with teens with acute mental health and substance abuse issues. Many of our past nurses have found that this experience was helpful in pursuing an RN degree.

Essential Functions:

• Provide first aid and nursing care as needed

This is a part time, onsite position. Must be open to commuting to all our locations - La Mesa, Mt. Helix, and Encinitas.

Payrate: $33-37/hour

Requirements:

• Valid LVN/LPT license
• Proficient in PC, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate productively with other team members
• Must be punctual
• Have a respectful and professional demeanor and demonstrate appropriate boundaries with clients
• Experience with EMR is a plus
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid DL and reliable transportation
• Must have a clean record and can clear a CA Live Scan background check
