Job summary

Evolve Treatment Centers is seeking a part-time LVN/LPT to join our team as a weekend nurse. The position is onsite across our California locations in La Mesa, Mt. Helix, and Encinitas, requiring Saturday and Sunday shifts from 12pm to 8:30pm.

You'll work with teens aged 12–17 facing mental health or substance use challenges, gain multidisciplinary experience, and support treatment goals while maintaining thorough health records and safe clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Licensed LVN or LPT in California is required.
• Ability to work with teens in behavioral health settings is preferred.
• Proficient communication and professional conduct with clients and families.
• Punctual and dependable with a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and first aid as needed.
• Supervise safety and oversee client well-being.
• Administer medications and maintain daily logs.
• Record weights and vitals accurately.
• Maintain up-to-date health records and documentation.

Description:

Evolve adolescent mental health treatment and teen rehab centers, accredited by CARF and The Joint Commission, offer the highest caliber of behavioral health care for adolescents 12 to 17 years old struggling with mental health issues or substance abuse.
We are looking for apart-timeLVN/LPT to join our teamas a weekend nurse towork 2 weekends a month Saturdays and Sundays from12pm-8:30pm.
This is an opportunity to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team andgain experienceworking with teens with acute mental health and substance abuse issues. Many of our past nurses have found that this experience was helpful in pursuing an RN degree.

Essential Functions:

• Provide first aid and nursing care as needed
• Supervise and ensure the safety of all clients in care
• Ensure needs and services for each client are being implemented
• Ensure all records are up to date
• Complete and record daily vitals and weekly weight
• Prepare and administer medication daily; do medical inventory as needed
• Handle health emergencies appropriately

This is a part time, onsite position. Must be open to commuting to all our locations - La Mesa, Mt. Helix, and Encinitas.
Payrate: $33-37/hour

Requirements:

• ValidLVN/LPTlicense
• Proficient in PC, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate productively with other team members
• Must be punctual
• Have a respectful and professional demeanor and demonstrate appropriate boundaries with clients
• Experience with EMR is a plus
• Must have at least 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid DL and reliable transportation
• Must have a clean record and can clear a CA Live Scan background check
