Job summary

Burton Center for Disabilities and Special Needs is seeking a licensed practical nurse for a part-time role in Greenwood, SC. The LPN will work weekends on a rotating schedule to support two intermediate care facilities, focusing on health maintenance and safe medication administration.

You will collaborate with nursing leadership and primary care teams, teaching residents about medications and monitoring responses while maintaining thorough documentation and monthly wellness checks.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Active SC Board of Nursing license required.
• Valid SC Driver's License.
• At least 1 year of experience with individuals with disabilities or special needs.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality health maintenance and supervise medication administration.
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing and care teams to support residents.
• Educate residents and families about medications and safe self-administration.
• Document medication administration and monitor progress monthly.
