Nick's Health Care Center in Missouri is seeking a weekend Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team. The 12-hour Fri-Sun night shift (6:00pm–6:00am) and day shift (6:00am–6:00pm) require leadership of CNAs/CMTs and adherence to facility protocols while delivering compassionate resident care.
The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to engage with Mayo Clinic programs and telemedicine services.
Qualifications
- LPN licensure in Missouri.
- Experience in long-term care settings is a plus.
- Ability to lead CNAs and other care team members while following facility protocols.
Responsabilités
- Conduct assessments, follow protocol, report medical or behavioral changes, and document findings.
- Perform admission duties: complete assessment, MAR, TAR, POS, review chart setup, physician orders, and order medications.
- Manage discharges: complete documentation, notify physician and guardian, and arrange transportation.
- Provide wound care: follow protocols, irrigate, pack, and remove dressings.
- Lead CNAs and CMTs, ensuring compliance with facility protocols and policies.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations.
