Job summary

Truman Medical Centers is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Well-Baby/Labor & Delivery team on a weekends-only schedule. Under the guidance of a registered nurse, you will perform assessments, administer meds, and deliver patient-centered care across settings as needed.

Successful applicants are Missouri-licensed LPNs, certified in BCLS, with IV therapy certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Licensed as a practical nurse in the State of Missouri.
• Certified in BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support).
• State-approved certification in IV Therapy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and collect patient data.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly.
• Provide nursing care in compliance with the Missouri State Board of Nurse Practice Act.
