Job summary

Voyage Long Term Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Nursing department on full-time double weekends with Baylor pay. You will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs/CMAs, ensuring adherence to Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act and federal/state guidelines.

The role requires an Oklahoma-licensed LPN with at least 1 year in skilled nursing or long-term care, strong communication, and the ability to maintain detailed medical records and discharge plans.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and currently licensed by the state of Oklahoma.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care environment is required.
• Diploma from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs and CMAs in accordance with Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act and regulations.
• Utilize PPE in all appropriate settings per Infection Control protocols.
• Coordinate with nursing care and resident services to maintain overall care regimens.
• Participate in QA program development and surveys/inspections as needed.
• Record diet orders and disseminate information to dietary staff.
• Chart communications with physicians, medical staff, and families.
• Receive and transcribe physician orders into residents' medical records.
• Assist with discharge planning and review discharge plans.
