Qualifications
- On-air hosting or reporting experience required.
- Experience with digital news production and live streaming workflows.
- Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail.
- Ability to work weekends and varied hours.
Responsibilities
- Gather, produce, and present live coverage across digital, streaming, social, and broadcast platforms.
- Host live streams and guide viewers through developing stories clearly and engagingly.
- Research, plan, and build editorial coverage including guest bookings and interviews.
- Manage live video production elements including switching, graphics, and stream execution.
- Monitor feeds, wires, social media, and tools to identify breaking news and emerging stories.
- Execute and evolve editorial plans with calendars to ensure coordinated coverage.
- Collaborate with FOX O&O stations and partners to source content.
- Pitch story ideas and contribute to editorial decisions while upholding journalism standards.
- Monitor real-time analytics to inform coverage and optimize performance.
- Support teammates in various roles, including on-air or behind the scenes.
