FOX presents LiveNOW from FOX seeking a Weekend Host/Producer to join the national live streaming news team. You’ll host live coverage and shape editorial presentation across platforms while coordinating with on‑air and behind‑the‑scenes teams.

The role blends live hosting with production duties, requiring newsroom experience, strong communication, and the ability to work weekends and fluctuating hours. This is a fast‑paced, dynamic environment focused on real‑time storytelling.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of current events and how audiences consume news online.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly on‑air and behind the scenes in fast‑paced breaking news.
• Excellent editorial judgment, research skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience with digital news production, live streaming workflows, and newsroom technologies (e.g., TriCaster).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Gather, produce, and present live coverage across digital, streaming, social, and broadcast platforms.
• Host live streams, guiding viewers through developing stories clearly and engagingly.
• Research, plan, and build editorial coverage, including booking guests and coordinating interviews.
• Manage live video production elements including switching, graphics, and stream execution.
• Monitor live feeds, wires, social media, and newsgathering tools to identify breaking news and trends.
• Execute and evolve the editorial plan with forward‑looking coverage and coordination.
• Collaborate with FOX O&O stations and partners to source video and content.
• Pitch story ideas and contribute to editorial decisions while upholding journalistic standards.
• Monitor real‑time analytics to inform coverage decisions and performance.
• Support teammates across roles, stepping in on‑air or behind the scenes as needed.
• Maintain relationships with contacts and sources to support coverage.
