Job summary

The Arc of Anchorage is hiring a Direct Support Professional for a weekend live-in role in Anchorage, AK. The position is part-time and located in a residential home operated by The Arc, with a Friday 4:00 PM to Sunday 4:00 PM shift.

Responsibilities include supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living, documenting progress, and coordinating with the supervisor and team.

Qualifications

• Be able to work effectively with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication, listening, and judgment skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support individuals in activities of daily living and skill development.
• Transport and accompany to appointments and activities.
• Document progress and follow the service plan and agency policies.
• Meet deadlines for incident reporting and service documentation.
