Job summary

The Arc San Francisco is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings on weekends and evenings.

You will assist with daily living activities, coordinate with families and care providers, and help participants maintain independence in a safe, respectful environment. Training is provided and safety policies are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in caregiving or disability services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with activities of daily living and health needs.
• Provide in-person supports in homes and communities, especially during emergencies.
• Coordinate with families, care providers, case managers and community resources.
• Maintain records of participant progress and update IPP information as needed.
